Cooking Aids

Formulated with a surfactant, cooking aid additives are designed to improve chips impregnation, by removing hydrophobic materials from wood vessels & capillaries.




Scale Inhibitor

Many proprietary, organic, dispersant chemicals are available to control hard scales from various ions (sulfate, oxalate, barium) in digesters, bleach plants, and evaporation pulp processes.




Washing aids

A full range of defoamers (silicone emulsions, water and oil-based) is available from AXCHEM for brown stock washing and effluent treatment. These defoamers prevent foaming while enhancing dewatering and deaeration.




Pitch Control

Through a blend of chemistries, AXCHEM’s deposits control products cover deresinators, dispersants, detackifiers, passivating, and fixative agents. They are designed to ease pitch extraction and prevent deposition on fiber and equipment surfaces.




Bio-sourced chemicals and by products

Extraction enhancers are available for turpentine and crude oil production. When applied, these programs generate value from the recovery process. Scale reduction and heat transfer improvement are obtained in the evaporation process.




Green & White Liquor Treatments

Based on extensive experience in clarification and settling technology with proprietary polyacrylamide chemistry, AXCHEM can provide the right flocculant to improve liquor quality and CaCO₃ settling.




Lime recovery

AXCHEM chemicals can achieve energy savings in the kiln process, lower fresh lime makeup, and reduced TRS emissions.




Raw water & effluents

With a broad portfolio of organic polymers and inorganic compounds, AXCHEM impacts the entire water treatment process by enhancing settling speed, reducing turbidities, and increasing sludge dryness (i.e., reducing sludge volumes).




Odor control

Olfactory nuisances, toxic gas emanations, and corrosion deterioration have AXCHEM solutions. An intensive effort has been made to find programs for reducing odor in effluents and sludge treatment processes while improving work and safety conditions.
